East Dorset Group author

One of our members, Simon Bowden, has published a book of his poems, "Gifts of the Dark". He says the book is inspired by the mental quietness we can achieve through walking and being in nature.

The Jubilee Trail

The Jubilee Trail runs between the east and west boundaries of Dorset and was originally set up by ramblers in Dorset. It has been maintained by the members of the geographical groups whose areas it runs through. We are now looking for a volunteer to look after the short part of the Jubilee Trail that runs between Bere Regis and Morton. You can see the route marked with green diamonds on an Ordnance Survey map.

You can find out more about the Jubilee Trail here
